197Violation against journalists and their Iraqi Media organizations
A duration between May 3, 2007 and May 3, 2008 has revealed new indicators to the reality of freedom of the journalists in Iraq, which can be described as a risk to the future of free media performances and pave the way for widening the governmental policy of prevention and repression. Violations against journalists marked a 60% increase over last year, which means one violation every 43 hours.
